Introduction

      The  fluted centralizer tool is a basic tool used in large pipe column wells when operating with small-diameter tools to provide alignment and stabilization. It is also known as a rigid alignment tool.

       The fluted centralizer tool has a simple structure. The upper part is equipped with a standard external fishing neck + thread for connecting the upper tool string; the lower part has a standard internal thread for connecting the lower tools; the threads on the upper and lower parts are of the same specification. 
The middle outer diameter of the slot alignment tool is larger than the diameters at both ends and is also larger than the outer diameters of other downhole tools. The external part is machined with an overflow groove (hence the name slot alignment tool) to allow fluid to pass through during the downhole operation to prevent top drilling.

Technical specification

Any size can be customized according to customer requirements.

Usage instructions:

1. Connect the slot straightener to the upper and lower parts of the weighting rod (at least two straighteners are required for each tool string);

2. If a shock hammer is lowered into the well, a straightener should also be connected to the lower part of the shock hammer;

3. Before each lowering operation, tighten the threads;

4. Select the appropriate diameter of the straightener based on the pipe string conditions.
